RESUMEN
La mujer romana de época imperial perteneciente a la élite ciudadana a través de importantes lazos familiares va a disfrutar de ciertos privilegios en el ámbito legal y económico que le permitirán el desarrollo de importantes actividades y un importante prestigio social. La documentación epigráfica conservada nos permite conocer mejor el status de aquellas mujeres que habitaron en las civitates romanas pertenecientes a la actual provincia de Málaga.
ABSTRACT
The woman Roman imperial period belonging to the elite citizens through significant family ties will enjoy certain privileges in the legal and economic that will allow the development of important activities and an important social prestige. The epigraphic documentation preserved allows us to better understand the status of women who lived in the Roman civitates belonging to the province of Malaga.
